The aim of this site is
compile, select and classify links to
useful
web pages closely related to Polymerase Chain Reaction techniques,
with the purpose of orienting and facilitating the task search in
Internet to students, professors and researchers and also to provide
a site of exchange of information between visitors.
The initial idea arose at the beginning of 2001 when I described the
deficiency of web sites exclusively dedicated to PCR techniques. At
first, I had in mind a construction of a plain and high quality web
page with high speed loading.
However, the amount of information about PCR forced me to organize
and classify several times all the selected links, arriving finally
to the present structure of the site. Nevertheless, I consider that
I have not lost the spirit of enterprise of this goal and I hope
that soon it can become a reference site, where many users can
benefit and participate actively on this project (See
Project).
